Isn’t it amazingly wonderful to know that God’s mercies are new every morning? I for one am so very grateful because I use up a lot in a day.

I am also very grateful that my friends, family, and total strangers extend great mercies to me. God says that we will reap what we sow, and that makes me happy.

Sometimes I get irritated with people, just for a minute though, just long enough to stop and think of the irritation I must have been, and maybe still am to others. All of the sudden the mercies of God floods my soul and I remember, ‘You reap what you sow.’ Trust me, you can change your attitude in an instant if you truly believe… ‘You will reap what you sow.’  Or you might say it like this, ‘What goes around, comes around’…RIGHT?

I know the official day is not for a couple of weeks yet, but I figure every day is Mother’s Day when your kids are alive. It’s Mother’s Day when you are able to hug them, hold them, and kiss them. It’s Mother’s Day when you can sit beside them and just watch them breathe another breath. It’s Mother’s Day when you get to tell them that you love them no matter what. It’s Mother’s Day when you know that they know it! It’s Mother’s Day when they told you your kid is going to die soon…. (2001), and she is alive and well today in 2018! It’s Mother’s Day when you can think back on all the memory building moments you made that no one can take from you. It’s Mother’s Day when you can help another mother get through the tough times of being a mother.

You don’t need a special date on the calendar to celebrate Mother’s Day. That’s an everyday celebration. Right!!!

Don't Get Tired of Doing the Right Things

How easy it would be sometimes to just give in and give up! Well, don't do it. If you do, you will lose out on so much. Galatians 6:9 says, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shell reap, IF we don't faint."

Ok, so what is 'due season’?  Well, It’s your time. Time to reap the things you have sown into. It’s the time you’ve been dreaming of. It’s the time for ‘pay back’, if you will. It’s the moment of harvesting all the time, energy, love, money, words, efforts, and tears you have invested in something, or someone to pay off.

That time will come IF you don’t get tired and quit!

Stay on God’s side…It just works better.
